Ingredients:
800 g beef (chuck roast, stewing meat)
2 onions
4 cloves garlic
2 tablespoons lard
1 tablespoon paprika
1 kg potatoes
2 tomatoes
1 green pepper
1 bay leaf
10 cloves
1 teaspoon whole peppercorns
salt
water
1 bunch parsley
Instructions:
Cut the beef into cubes.
Chop the onions and crush the garlic.
Fry the onions in the lard, then add the garlic and paprika.
Fry briefly, then add the beef.
Fry until browned, then season with salt and pepper and add water.
Cover and simmer the meat until tender.
Add the diced potatoes, tomatoes, green pepper, bay leaf, cloves, and peppercorns.
Continue cooking until the potatoes are soft.
Season with parsley.
Tips:
Goulash soup can be served with fresh bread, dumplings, noodles, or spaetzle to taste.
